Origin
Native to western and southern Europe.
Naturalised Distribution
Widely naturalised is southern Australia (i.e. in some parts of eastern New South Wales, in Victoria and Tasmania, in south-eastern South Australia, and in south-western Western Australia).
Also naturalised in the USA (i.e. California, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi) and Hawaii.
