Origin
Native to eastern Australia (i.e. south-eastern Queensland, eastern New South Wales and Victoria) and New Zealand.
Naturalised Distribution
Naturalised beyond its native range in south-eastern Australia (i.e. in Tasmania and possibly also in the ACT and beyond its native range in Victoria).
Naturalised overseas in Hawaii.
Notes
Burgan (Kunzea ericoides) is regarded as an environmental weed in the ACT and Victoria, and is actively managed by community groups in the ACT.
