Naturalised Distribution

Occasionally naturalised in some parts of northern and south-eastern Queensland.

Naturalised overseas in some parts of the USA (i.e. California, Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina and Maryland).

Notes

Timber bamboo (Phyllostachys bambusoides) is regarded as an environmental weed in Queensland, and as a potential environmental weed in New South Wales.
