Native to New Zealand.
Naturalised Distribution
Occasionally naturalised in some parts of south-eastern Australia (i.e. in southern Victoria and the sub-coastal districts of central New South Wales).
Notes
Tarata (Pittosporum eugenioides) is regarded as an environmental weed in Victoria and as a minor or potential environmental weed in New South Wales.
