Origin
Native to the Mediterranean region.
Naturalised Distribution
Widely naturalised in the drier parts of southern Australia (i.e. in western New South Wales, north-western Victoria, many parts of South Australia, and the southern and central parts of Western Australia). Also sparingly naturalised in south-western Queensland.
Notes
Tiny bristle-grass (Rostraria pumila) is regarded as an environmental weed in Western Australia, and has also been recorded in conservation areas in other states.
