Native to some parts of southern Europe (i.e. Italy, Sardinia and Corsica).
Naturalised Distribution
This species is becoming widely naturalised in the wetter parts of southern Australia (i.e. in some parts of eastern New South Wales, in the coastal districts of southern Victoria, in Tasmania, in south-eastern South Australia, and in the coastal districts of south-western and northern Western Australia).
Also naturalised beyond its native range in western Europe and in south-western USA (i.e. California).
Notes
Baby's tears (Soleirolia soleirolii) is regarded as an environmental weed in Western Australia and Victoria.
