Origin
Native to south-western South Africa (i.e. Cape Province in South Africa).
Naturalised Distribution
Locally naturalised in south-eastern South Australia. It was naturalised in western Victoria, but is no longer thought to be present in this state.
Notes
Pink tritonia (Tritonia squalida ) is regarded as an environmental weed in South Australia.
