Origin
Native to southern Africa (i.e. Cape Province in South Africa).
Naturalised Distribution
Widely naturalised in southern Australia (i.e. in the coastal districts of southern and central New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, south-eastern South Australia and the southern and western parts of Western Australia). Possibly also naturalised in the ACT.
Naturalised overseas in New Zealand.
Notes
White cudweed (Vellereophyton dealbatum) is regarded as an environmental weed in Victoria and Western Australia.
